Frequently Asked Questions

  • At least every 12 months by a competent person. Do weekly internal walkthroughs in between.

  • Red: unload and cordon off immediately. Amber: repair within 4 weeks or the rack must be decommissioned.

  • Weekly in-house checks are recommended, but the annual audit must be done by a qualified independent professional.

  • If deflection (sag) remains after unloading, the beam is compromised—take it out of service and contact us.

  • A written report with photos, risk ratings and priorities, plus a quote for OEM-spec remedial works.

  • NZ standards generally discourage straightening. We replace damaged parts with OEM components to maintain integrity.
