Frequently Asked Questions

  • In most cases, yes. Consent is legally required under the NZ Building Act. There are some exemptions; contact us and we’ll advise.

  • Yes. PS1 (Design) supports the consent application; PS4 (Construction Review) confirms installation meets the design.

  • Yes. NZ is a high-seismic zone. Racking must be engineered for lateral forces to protect people and product.

  • Yes. When supplied and certified correctly. We inspect, certify and document fully to meet NZ standards.

  • Yes. Every rack run requires visible plaques showing maximum weight per beam level and per bay.

  • At least every 12 months by a competent person, with regular internal walkthroughs in between.
